Apply for a place

We are delighted that you are considering applying for your child to have a place at Saffron Walden Nursery School. 

We accept children aged 1-4 throughout the year subject to spaces being available. We try to offer sessions as flexibly as possible, however we do request that all children attend at least two sessions per week.

Demand for places is high and there is a waiting list for many sessions across all rooms. Therefore, we recommend that you register your child with as much notice as you can.  

Visiting the nursery 

We apologise that until Covid-19 levels have reduced significantly, we have decided to pause tours of the nursery to keep our children, their families and our staff as safe as possible. We look forward to being able to welcome parents back in the future and thank you for your understanding. Our video tour gives you an insight into the nursery building, our rooms and the garden. 

How to apply

Please complete the registration form below and return it to the nursery with your registration fee of £10.

To apply download the registration form and either edit it on your computer and submit via email to: swnschool@aol.com or print, fill it in by hand and send it back to us at: Saffron Walden Nursery School, Shire Hill Industrial Estate, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB11 3AQ.

Submission of the form and payment of the £10 registration fee does not guarantee a place or starting date for your child. You will receive acknowledgment of the registration form and we will get back in touch to organise a start date and settling visits.
